A Traditional Sri Lanka Spices Mixed Brownie
Soft chocolate strawberry spiced Brownies that are flavored with the winter warming spices of cinnamon and cloves are a delicious treat for any happy occasion. Chocolate helps too! The smell of these baking is enticing and makes you want a glass of mulled wine.
Spices such as cinnamon have an earthy and very primal note to them, and when they’re sprinkled into something either sweet or savory, create a unique and mysterious quality that simply cannot be ignored. Frankly, they often leave one craving more.
sometimes a touch of spice is exactly what we need to taste on our tongues in order to create some sweet heat that will bring us out of any apathy that may be present.
Spiced Chocolate Strawberry Brownie Recipe
Here is Chamanka's very own recipe for a delightful Spiced Chocolate Strawberry Brownie. YUM, YUM,,
Ingredients
· White sugar
· Flour
· 2x Eggs
· Vanilla
· Salt
· Cinnamon Powder
· Chocolate Source
· Strawberries
· Butter
· Coco Powder
Step 1 Recipe
· Add Flour, Sugar, Salt, Cinnamon Powder & Coco Powder
Step 2 Recipe
· Add 2x eggs and vanilla then extract to the dry mixture
Step 3 Recipe
· Place the bowl in the oven for 45 minutes at 150* degrees temperature
Step 4 Recipe
· After baking pore chocolate source on top of the brownie and then lay all the fresh strawberry slices on top of it.
Although Chamanka decorated her brownies with slices of strawberry topping they are delicious by themselves. She was in a full baking mode that day so had some spices sitting in the kitchen begging to be used.
