Easy, hot, tasty and spicy Pumpkin Devilled dish for Vegan Community
This is a proof that we entirely dedicated our cooking demonstration series to cater both meat lovers & Vegan community.
Deviled meat items are hot selling recipes in Sri Lankan menus from street food restaurant to the most luxurious hotel restaurant in Sri Lanka.
But what they all missing is that Vegan also love Deviled recipes but they have no choice since very rarely such a restaurant could have a vegetarian deviled item in their menu.
All thanks goes to Chef Jagath who came up with this brilliant idea of introducing a Vegan Deviled recipe by going out of usual cooking demonstration for a meat recipes.
Best thing about this recipe is that this tasty deviled item made of smashed Pumpkin then turning it to Fried Pumpkin Balls by dropping them in to the deep fryer. Our production crew enjoyed the dish very well and we didn’t miss having any meat item instead.
We believe from now on all Vegan Community have a chance for them self to enjoy Deviled Vegan recipes with more ideas such as using smashed potatoes, carrot or mixed smash vegetable or any other amazing idea in to this recipe structure.
We are hoping to bring you more recipe ideas especially for our Vegan Community who always feel less cared when it comes to open buffet of any function from home to the finest hotel in the town.
Pumpkin Devilled Recipe
1st Ingredients
Boiled and smashed pumpkin
Eggs
Chilly Pieces (N)
Black Pepper Powder
Baking Powder
Flour
Salt
Oil (for Fry)
Step 01
Add all ingredients together, mix well and deep fry using two spoons
2nd Ingredients
Oil or Margarine
Garlic
Onion
Capsicum
Chilly Pieces (N)
Black Pepper Powder (N)
Chili Paste
Tomato Sauce
Water
Step 02
Heat the pan and add oil
Add Garlic, capsicum and onion then half fry
Add chilly pieces salt tomato sauce and water
Mix well and add the pumpkin balls
